Gift yourself a pair of good tweezers with well-defined ends. There is nothing more irritating than not being able to 'pick' single hair neatly or to pluck them off. This pair of quality tweezers made from stainless steel makes it a whole lot easier for you.
This is how a pro plucks the eyebrows:
The inner base of the eyebrows should be somewhat thick and the brow line grows progressively thinner from the highest point of the brow till the tapering end. The optimal length is determined by the classic pencil test: simply place the pencil vertically along the wing of the nose from the centre of the inner eyebrow base. All bits of hair growth between the pencil and the nose are to be removed. The proper breadth of the arch depends on the desired form and the natural curvature of the eyebrow. They should always form an arch with a ¾ rise and ¼ downward slope.
To pluck stretch the skin i.e. stretch the skin apart with the thumb and forefinger and pluck the hair with the tweezers from its root in the direction of growth. In most cases it suffices to pluck the dark hair from the underside of the eyebrows to get a clean arch. By all means pluck too the dark hair at the bridge of the nose to take away that rather saturnine look.
